As the name suggests, the room has an ocean view and a private balcony, so you can take in the Caribbean from your own seat. Copamarina sits on about 20 acres of tropical gardens beside a private half-mile crescent beach. If a sea outlook matters to you, this category delivers it.
How are the beds arranged, and how many people can the room sleep?
The room is set with 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds and sleeps up to 4 guests. Couples or solo travelers will usually want the king. Families or friends sharing will want the two doubles.
How big is the room, and will four people be comfortable?
The room measures 296 sq. ft. It is comfortable for two and workable for four, especially if you plan to spend your days at the beach and pools and use the balcony as extra space. Larger families or anyone who wants room to spread out should plan around that footprint.
What is the bathroom like, and what comes with the room?

Is the Deluxe Ocean View Room a good choice for families?
Yes, the resort is family-friendly, with two kids' pools, a playground, volleyball and basketball. Up to two children aged 12 and under stay free using existing bedding when sharing a parent's or guardian's room. Cribs or infant beds cost about $10 a night. The room sleeps four, and the balcony adds some breathing space.
What is there to do around the resort, and how close are the pools and beach?
The resort has two outdoor pools, two children's pools and two hot tubs, with pool hours of roughly 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. The private beach is on the property. Guests can rent kayaks to paddle out to Gilligan's Island (Cayo Aurora), and the resort runs its own boat trips around the cay. Ni Spa is on the grounds, with reservations required for treatments. Las Palmas Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and the fine-dining Restaurante Alexandra opens on select evenings.
What should I know before I arrive?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by noon, and the front desk is open 24 hours. A $200 card authorization is placed at check-in for incidentals. The resort is smoke-free and does not accept pets other than service animals. Upper floors are reached by stairs only, as there is no elevator, so mention any mobility needs when booking. The driest, sunniest stretch for beach days is generally December through April.
